(My Refections on a Bhagawad Geetha Sloka)
First, we should accept there is more than one path before us. Then we should be ready to take some steps with determination. Action without any prior resolve is merely instinctual. Namely, it is not deliberate or well-considered. So, when we are ready to plunge into action, a dichotomy in our thought process might arise. Usually, such confusion arises only when we have multiple options before us. But we must be assured that only real thinkers or knowledgeable and conscientious people get dilemmas or oscillations in mind. For questions or inquiries to arise, a person needs to be reasonably educated and/or experienced. Once we entertain doubt or indecision on the course of action to be taken, we ask our master certain relevant questions about the next steps. Since the guru happened to reside in our human mind as Hrusheekesa or Paramatma or super-ego, He is sure to understand our questions so well that He begins to enlighten forthwith. We may call Him an entity or non-entity or super element or Govinda (a guide who leads us towards the right path). Mere chanting of our Guru’s name itself is like an invocation to Him, without any need for many words further. It is a genuine call or shortcut key for us to receive a positive result or outcome either for the common good or personal improvement before the real-life problems are solved successfully. Such guidance or instruction given in response to our calls is good for everyone. God also addresses many of us simultaneously every time. We need to realize that He is the only one coming to our succor though we are in billions.
