Oh
Boy! That’s quite amazing!
It
is not she as seen first,
And
it is not him who he was then.
All
this a make-believe world?
What
it looks like is not what as felt,
What
felt is not what looked like?
Then
is this not a make-believe world?
So
much good in the evil looking kinds,
And
so much bad in the good-looking folks;
Rightly
or wrongly so is this make-believe world.
It’s
all an odd world, full of makeup;
In
the morning with wonder one gets up
To
find the same guy not the very one.
Then
is not this a make-believe world?
Why
did not God let them be His open books
And
make them all some wonderful souls
With
age, health and temper without a loss,
To
make this world true to believe?
Oh
Boy! What make-believe world is?
