Halloween special: It makes all kinds of people to make this world. There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it ill behooves any of us to find fault with the rest of us.
Reading together the above two sentences, it occurs to my humble mind that not accepting these home truths may lead our humanity face many perils.
As per the quotes read together, people are of many kinds and each kind could be right in its own way and in its own right or respect and that too on many counts. For each kind, things are definitely working out, some how or other, and in their own spheres. Of course, we don’t know the success and efficiency part or about the efficacy of the tools they use.
Yet the funny part is that one set of people keeps calling the other sets from different backgrounds as dumb and vice versa. Taking it to the next level, they start even hating the rest of the given kinds for the way things viewed or handled by them, which is out of sheer prejudice or reasoned judgment. That so-called reason behind their ‘negative’ conclusion about other sets of people as being wrong might be based on scientific evidence ( one that is proved that far, or not disproved as yet), logic homespun, rhetoric, or to gain some brownie points to please the audiences present.
Being critical of others just on whims, differentiated from one’s duty while on some or other job, could upset one’s own health just as smoking or not exercising does harm.
If a person is not an apprentice, then to teach him or her in the fine arts of work culture or morals will only antagonise that person. This is even when it is done only to make such person appreciate the subject in question. It is still worse if hate speeches are rendered, like politicians do, to show off one’s smartness or gift of the gab. It’s better to enjoy life as lemons than knowing their various botanical names geographically in graphic detail. Peace is easy peasy or pumpkin peasy around Halloween time, lest devils will overtake our mind. Common sense should guide us than any extraordinary sense merely to live our life as amicably as possible among the given heterogeneous cultures, races and other divides as god has ordained our life to be so diverse.
